Comfortable place, efficient stuff with outstanding service from the support staff. The spotless and reasonably large room with all comforts. Entertainment area, secluded location just off a promenade through surrounding trees and the restaurant.
Cold bathroom.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the accommodation was fantastic, comparable to what you would find at a higher-rated hotel. The beds were comfortable, with quality linen, and the air conditioning throughout the hotel kept us cool during our stay. We were delighted to discover that our room had a stunning ocean view from the balcony, offering a corner view of the beautiful ocean. Additionally, the hotel is perfectly positioned for beach access, with a lovely wooden pathway leading to a secluded beach. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious, with the chefs consistently delivering tasty meals. we were impressed with the value for money and attention to detail at this hotel.
No significant improvements needed, everything was perfect.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this place. The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach. The service was outstanding, with exceptional support staff who were passionate about providing top-notch customer service. The room amenities were great, including air conditioning, ironing facilities, and tea and coffee facilities. We loved relaxing on the terrace with garden furniture and enjoyed the convenience of room service and in-room breakfast. The restaurant and bar/lounge area were also wonderful, offering a delicious menu and a lovely dining experience. The hotel's leisure facilities, such as the swimming pool, sun terrace, and beach access, were well-maintained and provided a great atmosphere for relaxation. The free Wi-Fi and luggage storage were also convenient features.
We had a fantastic experience at this venue and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Beach and pool were great, apartment was spacious and cleaning service was good. Compared to Ballito the beach was empty too.
Apartment could have had a few more facilities (drying racks, more plates, cutlery) and hotel restaurant was only adequate. It was fairly pricey even for peak season (£250 a night for 3 bedrooms) I thought. Xmas and ny meals were very overpriced buffets.

Staying at this hotel is like living right next to the beach with everything that comes along with it - the sound of the waves, the salty air, and the view. It’s perfect. the walkway to the beach is well-maintained. the pool and restaurant area are both fantastic, and the hotel staff is more than happy to help if you have too much to carry.
The view from some apartments may not be what you expected.

Our stay at Anew Hotel Ocean Reef was fantastic! The location was absolutely perfect, right on the coast with private Boardwalk access to the beach. The self-catering unit we stayed in was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a Braai. We also loved the infinity pool and the restaurant on-site. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they even allowed us to change rooms for more privacy. Breakfast on the patio by the pool each morning was a delightful experience. we had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel for a beachfront holiday.
